Ingredients:
6 ozOatmeal (preferably fine)
2 ozFlour
1 tspSalt
10 fl ozWarm water
Procedures:
1Mix flour and salt together.
2Slowly add warm water.
3Roll out on a floured board to ?inch thick.
4Cut into triangles.
5Cook on a pan or griddle until golden on both sides.
6Dry out in a cool oven (150 c / 300°F) until crisp.
7-- these cakes are eaten buttered, with a glass of milk, for supper, but are also good with oily fish such as herring or mackerel.
8(they are also terrific with wine and cheese).
