Irish breakfast scones

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cupWhole wheat pastry flour
1/3 cupWholemeal flour
3/4 cupWheat bran
1 tspBaking powder
2 tbspSoy margarine
2 tbspCorn syrup
1 cupPotato or soy milk
Procedures:
1Mix dry ingredients.
2Add margarine and mix well.
3Add the syrup and enough milk to make a loose dough.
4Turn onto a floured board and knead until smooth.
5Roll out into a square with a thickness of about ?inch.
6Cut dough in half, then into quarters and then to eights.
7Bake on a lightly floured baking sheet at 400f for approximately 20 minutes.
8Cool on a wire rack.
9Split and serve with whole fruit preserves.
