| large | Eggs | | 1
| tsp | Salt | | 1/2
| tsp | Freshly ground white pepper | | 1/2
| tsp | Ground ginger | | 1/3
| cup | Vegetable oil | | 1/2
| cup | Water | | 1 1/4
| cup | Matzo Meal | | 1/4
| tsp | Baking powder | | 1
| quart | Chicken stock |

Procedures:
| 1 | Matzoh balls combine the eggs, salt, pepper and ginger in a china, glass or enamelware mixing bowl. | | 2 | Beat well with a wire whisk or use a blender. | | 3 | Beat in the oil, water, matzo meal and baking powder. | | 4 | Chill the mixture for 30 minutes or longer, or chill overnight. | | 5 | Bring a large quantity of salted water to a boil. | | 6 | Shape the mixture into 16 balls and drop them into the water. | | 7 | Simmer for 30 minutes. | | 8 | Serve in hot chicken stock/soup. |
