Goreng pisang (fried bananas)

Ingredients:
-Karen Thackeray
8 Bananas, peeled
1/2 cupSelf-rising flour
1/2 cupRice flour
1 tbspCornstarch
1 cupWater
1/2 tspSalt
4 tbspFine brown sugar
Oil, for deep frying
Procedures:
1Slice each banana lengthwise.
2Sift flours and add to water.
3Stir until consistency of cream.
4Add salt.
5Heat oil and, when smoking, dip each piece of banana in batter.
6Shake off excess and lower into hot oil.
7Fry until golden brown and roll in brown sugar.
8Serve with ice cream.
