Ingredients:
16 ozPineapple-ylw candy'd, chop'd
8 ozCherries, red
8 ozCherries, grn candy'd, chop'd
2 cupRaisins, golden
4 cupPecans or walnuts, chopped
3 1/2 cupFlour, all purpose
1/2 cupButter/margarine, softened
1 cupBrown sugar, firmly
4 Eggs, separated
1 tbspBaking soda
3 tbspMilk
1/4 cupBrandy
1 tspCinnamon, ground
1 tspNutmeg, ground
Procedures:
1Ndy"d,chop"d cked combine first 5 ingredients; dredge with 1 cup flour, stirring well.
2Set aside.
3Cream butter; gradually add sugar, beating well at medium speed of an electric mixer.
4Add egg yolks, mixing well.
5Dissolve soda in milk; add to creamed mixture.
6Add brandy, spices, and remaining 2 ?cups flour, mixing well.
7Beat egg whites (at room temperature) until stiff; fold into batter.
8Fold in fruit mixture.
9Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets.
10Bake at 325f for 12 to 15 minutes.
11Cool on wire racks.
12Yield: about 10 dozen
