| 1 | Dissolve yeast in potato water. |
| 2 | Add sugar, and let stand five minutes. |
| 3 | Add salt and beaten eggs. |
| 4 | Stir in four cups of the flour. |
| 5 | Add oil, stirring while adding. |
| 6 | Stir in enough remaining flour to make dough that forms a ball and is not sticky. |
| 7 | Put dough on a floured board. |
| 8 | Cover with a towel and let rest 10 minutes. |
| 9 | Knead 10 minutes. |
| 10 | Put in a greased bowl, and let rise until it doubles (about one hour). |
| 11 | Punch down. |
| 12 | Braid to form two loaves and place on cookie sheets. |
| 13 | Let rise again, approximately 50 minutes. |
| 14 | Use a pastry brush to gently coat with a glaze made of a beaten egg and a few drops of water. |
| 15 | Sprinkle the top with sesame seeds. |
| 16 | Bake at 350 degrees until well done (approximately 45 to 50 minutes). |
