| tsp | Cinnamon | | 1
| | Lemon, grated peel only | | 1/2
| cup | Calif. dried figs, chopped | | 1/2
| cup | Orange juice |

Procedures:
| 1 | Core apples and peel 1/3 way down. | | 2 | Mix cinnamon, lemon peel and chopped figs with 2 tablespoons of orange juice. | | 3 | Using a small spoon, stuff center and cover tops of apples with fig mixture. | | 4 | Arrange in shallow baking dish and pour remaining orange juice over apples. | | 5 | Bake at 350 degrees 45 to 60 minutes, basting occasionally with orange juice, until apples are tender. |
