Ingredients:
3 1/2 cupMashed fresh figs (unpeeled)
3 cupSugar
1/4 cupLemon juice (optional)
3 packStrawberry gelatin
- (3 ounces each)
Procedures:
1Cook figs, sugar and lemon juice 5 to 7 minutes.
2Let stand overnight.
3Stir in gelatin.
4Boil again 3 to 4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
5Pour quickly into jars and seal at once, or store in refrigerator if used within a month.
