Caraway-nutmeg bread

Ingredients:
1 kgFlour , 2 lb + 3 oz
50 gramsGranulated yeast
2 tspCaraway seeds
1 tspGround nutmeg
1 Egg
1 1/2 cupMilk, lukewarm
1 tbspSalt
Melted butter for brushing
1 tbspFlour for sprinkling
Procedures:
1Note: i make this bread using granulated yeast.
2If using other types of yeast, proof it in part of the milk and proceed as described.
3Use 2 packages of dried yeast for the given amount of flour.
4In a large bowl, mix the milk, egg, caraway, nutmeg and yeast.
5Gradually add the flour, by ?cup measurements, beating well after each addition.
6Toward the end you"ll get a soft dough that should be kneaded on the countertop.
7Knead 10 minutes.
8Let rise 1 ?hours.
9Punch down, add the salt, and knead 5 minutes.
10Let rise again, about 1 hour.
11Punch down, form into 4 or 5 small loaves, and let the loaves rise, covered for 30 minutes.
12Preheat the oven to 360°F (180 c).
13Brush the loaves with melted butter, sprinkle with flour, and bake 30 to 40 minutes
