Ingredients:
Figs (not too ripe)
Procedures:
1Wash thoroughly.
2Cover with water and boil for 2 minutes.
3Drain and use this water to make a thin syrup.
4Boil figs 5 minutes in syrup.
5If a sweeter product is desired, make a heavy syrup with water and sugar and combine equal parts of heavy syrup with corn syrup .
6Add a few slices of lemon to syrup and boil figs for 5 minutes.
7Pack into jars to within ?inch of top with precooking syrup.
8Put on cap, screw band firmly tight.
9Process: pints 30 minutes in boiling water bath : quarts 30 minutes" "
