Banana oatmeal cookies

Ingredients:
3/4 cupShortening
1 cupSugar
1 Egg
1 cupMashed bananas
1 3/4 cupRolled oats
1/2 cupChopped nuts
1 1/2 cupSifted flour
1/2 tspBaking soda
1/4 tspNutmeg
1 tspSalt
3/4 tspCinnamon
Procedures:
1Cream shortening and sugar until light and fluffy.
2Add egg and beat well.
3Add bananas, oats and nuts; mix thoroughly.
4Add sifted dry ingredients.
5Drop from teaspoon 1-?inches apart onto greased baking sheet.
6Bake in 400 degree oven for 15 minutes.
7Remove cookies from sheet immediately.
8Yield: 3-?dozen cookies.
