Ingredients:
2 lbsBoneless country-style pork
- ribs
GLAZE
7 1/4 ozJar Hisin sauce (2/3 cup)
1/4 cupPineapple juice
2 tbspSoy sauce
2 tbspRice vinegar
2 tbspSesame oil
1/2 tspFresh ginger, minced
1 ea Garlic clove, minced
Procedures:
1Microwave-to-grill directions: heat grill.
2Arrange ribs in 12x8-inch (2-quart) microwave-safe dish.
3Cover with microwave-safe waxed paper.
4Microwave on medium for 6-8 minutes or until outer edges begin to cook and pork is warm, turning once during cooking.
5Meanwhile, in small bowl, combine all glaze ingredients; blend well.
6Immediately place ribs on gas grill over medium heat or on charcoal grill 4-6 inches from medium-high coals.
7Brush with glaze; cook 10 minutes.
8Reduce heat to medium-low by spreading coals apart using oven mitt and long-handled tongs.
9Cook an additional 8-16 minutes or until tender and no longer pink, turning frequently and basting with glaze.
10Bring any remaining glaze to a boil; serve with ribs.
11Oven directions: heat oven to 350°F.
12Prepare glaze as directed above.
13Place ribs in 12x8-inch (2-quart) baking dish or 13x9-inch pan.
14Bake for 1 hour.
15Drain.
16Pour glaze over ribs, covering completely.
17Bake an additional 30-45 minutes or until ribs are tender, basting occasionally with glaze.
