Ingredients:
1/2 cupBrown Sugar
1/4 cupChopped Walnuts
1/4 cupRaisins
3 cupApples, sliced
1/4 cupButter, softened
2/3 cupSugar
Egg, beaten
4 tspBaking Powder
1/2 tspSalt
1 cupMilk
2 1/4 cupFlour
Procedures:
1Preheat oven 350 deg f.
2In bottom of buttered baking dish, sprinkle some brown sugar, nuts, and raisins.
3Layer in apples and remaining brown sugar.
4Cream butter, add sugar gradually, then add beaten egg.
5Sift flour, baking powder and salt.
6Combine creamed mix, dry ingredients and milk alternately till smooth.
7Pour batter over apples.
8Bake 35-40 minutes.
9Turn over on plate with apple side up.
10Serve with topping (whipped cream, etc).
