Ingredients:
2 cupSugar
2 cupFlour
4 Eggs
3 tspBaking powder
1/2 cupOil
3 tspVanilla
1/3 cupOrange juice
1/4 tspSalt
APPLE MIXTURE:
4 largeApples, peeled -- cored and
Sliced
4 tspSugar
1 tspCinnamon
Procedures:
1Beat everything but apple mixture with mixer for 10 minutes.
2Grease 2 loaf pans or 1 tube pan and make several layers of batter and apples, beginning with batter and ending with apples.
3Bake at 350^ for 1 hour or until tester is dry when inserted in center.
4A tube pan will take 10-15 minutes longer.
5(if glass pans are used, turn oven to 325^ after first 10 minutes)
