Ingredients:
| | FILLING | | 1/2
| cup | Sugar | | 3
| tbsp | Flour | | 1/4
| tsp | Nutmeg | | 1/4
| tsp | Cinnamon | | | Salt | | 4
| cup | Peaches, sliced & peeled | | 2
| tsp | Margarine | | | CRUST | | 5 1/2
| cup | Flour | | 2
| tsp | Salt | | 1
| lbs | Shortening | | 1
| tsp | Vinegar | | 1
| cup | Water |

Procedures:
| 1 | Crust: combine salt & flour. | | 2 | Cut in shortening. | | 3 | Add water & vinegar. | | 4 | Mix. | | 5 | It should be a firm dough, ready to be rolled. | | 6 | If not firm, add a little more flour. | | 7 | Divide into Roll one ball thinly & fit into the bottom of a 8" pie plate. | | 8 | Filling: combine peaches with sugar, flour, nutmeg, cinnamon & salt. | | 9 | Mix well & add to pie crust. | | 10 | Roll out remaining pastry & cover pie, seal. | | 11 | Pierce the top of the pie in the centre with a sharp knife. | | 12 | Bake at 400f for 35-40 minutes. | | 13 | "the hamilton spectator", august, 1992 |
