Wine fruit cup

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cupWhite Wine, Dry
1 tbspLemon Juice
1/4 tbspSalt
1/2 cupRaisins, Golden Seedless
2 eachNectarines, Sliced
1/2 cupSugar
1 1/2 tbspAnise Seed
1 eachCinnamon Stick, Small
4 eachPurple Plums, Sliced
Procedures:
1In an enameled or stainless steel saucepan, combine the wine, sugar, lemon juice, anise seed, salt and sinnamon stick and bring to a boil.
2Turn off heat and cool to room temperature.
3Combine the raisins, plums, and peaches in a bowl and strain the cooled wine syrup over them.
4Cover and refrigerate for several hours, stirring occasionally.
5Note: this fruit cup can be served as a dessert also.
