Ingredients:
1 cupSweet cream
2 Yeast cakes
10 Egg yolk
1 tspSalt
5 tbspButter
4 cupFlour
2 ozRum
6 tbspSugar
Procedures:
1Recipe by: mrs.
2Stalney smialowski heat cream to luke warm.
3Add salt and egg youlks and beat till thick.
4Cream butter and sugar.
5Put these into large bowl, add yeast disolved w/ 1 tablespoon sugar and nix thoroughly.
6Add rum then flour and cream alternately and beat hard till dough blisters.
7Set in warm place to rise.
8Punch down and let rise again.
9Place dough on floured surface and stretch and fill w/ pitted prunes.
10Fold over and cut into desired size balls.
11Place on floured surface and let rise.
12Fry in deep hot oil turning once.
13Paczki should be verry dark color before turning to ensure that they are thoroughly baked.
14Drain on soft absorbent paper.
15Sprinkle w/ powdered sugar.
