Ingredients:
COFFEE CAKE
2 cupAll purpose flour
1 cupSugar
2 tspBaking powder
1 tspSalt
1 1/2 tspGrated orange peel
1/2 cupMargarine, softened
1 cupMilk
1 tspVanilla
2 Eggs, slightly beaten
1 cupFresh or Froz. & thawed
Sliced peaches
1 cupFresh or Froz. & thawed
Blueberries
GLAZE
1 cupPowdered sugar
1/4 tspAlmond extract
3 To t tsps. milk
Procedures:
1Heat oven to 350 degrees.
2Grease 13x9 inch pan.
3Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off.
4In large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and orange peel.
5Using fork or pastry blender, cut in margarine until crumbly.
6Add milk, vanilla and eggs; stir until well blended.
7Pour ?c. of batter (2 ?cups) into greased pan.
8Top with peaches and blueberries.
9Spoon remaining batter over fruit.
10Bake for 35 to 45 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
11Cool 30 minutes.
12In small bowl, blend all icing ingredients, adding enough milk for desired consistency.
13Drizzle over coffee cake.
14Above 3500°Feet; bake at 375 degrees, for 30 to 35 minutes.
