Ingredients:
1/2 cupPowdered sugar
2 tbspMarsala
-(or substitute Madeira
- or sherry)
1 lbsPart-skim milk ricotta
1/2 cupWhipping cream
Procedures:
1In a large bowl, stir sugar and marsala together until sugar dissolves.
2Push ricotta through a sieve into the mixture and stir well.
3Chill thoroughly.
4When ready to proceed, whip cream into soft peaks.
5Fold it into the ricotta mixture.
6Transfer to ice cream machine and freeze according to machine"s directions.
