2 cupWater
1 cupDry white wine

1/4 tspPepper

1/2 cupGrated parmesan cheese
Procedures:

2Saute onion in butter in a dutch oven until tender.
3Blend in flour, stirring until smooth.
4Gradually add chicken broth, beef broth, water, and wine.
5Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes.
6Add pepper.place 8 ovenproof serving bowls on a baking sheet.
7Place 1 bread slice in each bowl; ladle soup over bread.
