Baci di dama ( orange almond cookies )

Ingredients:
1 cupGround blanched almonds
1/2 cupSugar
1/2 cupMinced candied orange peel
1 cupAll-purpose flour, sifted
6 tbspMilk, (6 to 8)
1/2 cupSemi-sweet chocolate pieces
--- melted
Procedures:
1Recipe by: the encyclopedia of italian cooking put the ground almonds in a bowl with the sugar, orange peel and all but 1
2tbsp of the flour.
3Mix well, then stire in enough milk to give a smooth, firm dough.
4roll into small balls and place, well apart, on a baking shet lined with greased wax paper.
5Sprinkle with the remaining flour, and bake in a preheated moderate oven 350 degrees, for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
6transfer to a wire rack to cool.
7When cold, sandwich the cookies together
8in pairs with the melted chocolate.
9Chill in the fridge for1 hour before
10serving.
