Ingredients:

| cup | Butter | | 2
| tbsp | Molasses | | 2
| | Eggs | | 1
| cup | Almonds, ground toasted | | 1/2
| tsp | Lemon rind, grated | | 1
| tsp | Almond extract | | 1/2
| cup | Amaretto liqueur | | 2
| cup | Pastry flour, whole wheat |

Procedures:
| 1 | Cream together butter and molasses. | | 2 | Add eggs, ground almonds, lemon rind and almond extract; mix well. | | 3 | Stir in amaretto alternately with flour. | | 4 | Drop by teaspoonsful onto unoiled cookie sheets. | | 5 | Bake at 350 °F for 12-15 minutes. | | 6 | Cookies will be golden brown when done. |
