| tbsp | Tapioca, quick-cooking | | 3
| tsp | Curry powder | | 1 1/2
| tsp | Beef bouillon granules | | 1/4
| tsp | Pepper | | 2
| | Bay leaves | | 16
| oz | Apricot halves, drained | | | Hot cooked rice | | 3/4
| cup | Peanuts, chopped |

Procedures:
| 1 | Trim fat from meat; cut meat into ?inch cubes. | | 2 | In a large skillet brown meat cubes and onion, half at a time, in hot oil. | | 3 | In crock pot, combine undrained pineapple, orange juice, tapioca, curry powder, bouillon granules, pepper, and bay leaves. | | 4 | Add meat and onion to cooker. | | 5 | Cover; cook on low-heat setting for 9 ?11 ?hours or on high heat setting for 3 ?4 ?hours. | | 6 | Add drained apricots, cover; cook on low or high heat setting for 30 minutes more. | | 7 | Serve over rice. | | 8 | Sprinkle peanuts on top of beef |
