Ingredients:

| lbs | Lamb | | 1/2
| lbs | Butter or margarine | | | 4 ea Scallions, chopped | | 1 1/2
| lbs | Tomatoes, peeled, strained OR | | 1
| tbsp | Tomato paste + 2 c. water | | 1
| tbsp | Dill, chopped | | 1
| tbsp | Parsley, chopped | | | Salt & pepper to taste | | 4
| lbs | Peas, shelled, washed | | | Water as needed |

Procedures:
| 1 | Cut meat into 1 ? cubes (approx).. | | 2 | Wash and drain. | | 3 | Brown butter in a pot. | | 4 | Add meat and brown well. | | 5 | Add scallions, and cook until soft but not dark. | | 6 | Add tomatoes (or diluted tomato paste), dill, parsley, salt & pepper. | | 7 | Simmer abt. | | 8 | 20 min. add peas and an addt"l. | | 9 | 1 c. water. | | 10 | Cover, simmer until all liquid is absorbed and only butter remains as a sauce |
