Ingredients:
1 tbspGhee
1 medOnion, sliced finely
3 3/4 cupVegetable stock
2 1/2 cupWater
1 each1" piece of ginger, grated
1/2 tspCayenne pepper
Juice of 1 lemon
3/4 lbsFresh broccoli, cut into
-- bite sized florets
Procedures:
1Melt ghee over medium low heat & add onion.
2Cook till it begins to brown, stirring occasionally.
3Meanwhile heat stock, water, ginger in pot for 5 to 6 minutes, do not let boil.
4Add onion, cayenne, lemon juice & broccoli.
5Cook over medium heat for 7 minutes, stir occasionally.
6Do not let soup boil.
7Serve right away.
