Recipe by: stacked arms b & b in wiscasset, maine combine the milk, ?c water and oil, bring to a boil.

Cool to lukewarm.

Sprinkle the yeast on ?c warm water; stir until dissolved; add with sugar and salt to the cooled milk mixture.

Stir the liquid into the flour just enough to blend thoroughly.

Cover; let stand in a warm place for 12-18 hours to sour.
