Ingredients:
3/4 cupSourdough starter
1 cupMashed potato (see note)
1/4 cupPotato cooking liquid
2 tbspVegetable oil
2 tbspHoney
1 tbspMolasses
1 1/2 tspSalt
1 tspFreshly ground black pepper
4 tbspPowderedd buttermilk
1 tbspDillseed
1 cupWhole wheat flour
1 cupRye flour
1/3 cupCornmeal
1 cupUnbleached white flour
(plus 1 or 2 T if dough is
Still wet after 10 minutes)
2 tspYeast
Procedures:
1Place all the ingredients in the machine, program for dark and basic white bread and press start.
2Note: when you boil the potato, save the water for an ingredient.
3Also note, if not using a zojirushi machine, place ingredients into bread machine in the order called for by your machines" manufacturer.
4Use whole wheat setting.
