Sourdough honey whole wheat bread

Ingredients:
1 packActive Dry Yeast
1 cupWarm Water
1 tbspSalt
2/3 cupSourdough Starter
1/2 cupHoney
1 1/2 tbspShortening
4 cupWhole Wheat Flour
Procedures:
1Dissolve yeast in 1 cup warm water.
2Mix yeast, starter, honey, salt and shortening with 3 cups flour.
3Add more flour as needed to make a stiff dough.
4Knead 150 strokes on a floured surface and place in a greased bowl.
5Cover and let rise 1 to 1 ?hours until doubled in size.
6Punch down, let double again.
7Punch down and roll into tight loaf.
8Grease and place in bread pan.
9Let double in pan and bake at 400 °F.
10For 35 to 40 minutes or until very dark golden brown, and it sounds hollow when thumped.
