Oyster-mushroom chowder

Ingredients:
1 quartOysters
1 cupOyster liquor
3 tbspButter
1 tbspFlour
1 cupMilk
1/2 cupCream
2 tbspShallots, minced
Salt and pepper
1/2 lbsMushrooms
2 tspParsley, minced
Procedures:
1Heat oysters in liquor over low heat until edges curl.
2Drain, saving liquor.
3Melt 1 tbs butter, blend in flour, add milk gradually, stirring constantly.
4Bring to boiling and cook 1 minute.
5Add cream, shallots, parsley, salt and pepper.
6Warm mushrooms in remaining butter until heated but not brown.
7Combine mushrooms, oysters, and oyster liquor to cream sauce.
8Serve immediately.
