Ingredients:
6 eachOnion, large sliced
6 tbspButter
6 cupBeef stock
1 tbspFlour
4 eachFrench bread, ? slices
1 cupCheddar cheese, grated
Procedures:
1Spread french bread with 1/3 of butter; toast till brown and set aside.
2In soup pot melt remaining butter.
3Add onions and saute" until tender.
4Add stock.
5Add salt and pepper to taste.
6Add flour and mix until smooth.
7Simmer 15 minutes.
8Pour in separate serving bowls and place toasted bread on top.
9Sprinkle with cheddar cheese and broil until light brown.
