| oz | Chow mein noodles | | 1
| cup | Salted peanuts | | 1/2
| cup | Dates, cut up | | 1/2
| cup | Dried apricots, cut up | | 1/2
| cup | Raisins | | 1/4
| cup | Margarine, melted | | 6
| oz | Semisweet chocolate chips OR | | | - butterscotch chips | | | VARIATIONS | | 1 1/2
| cup | Oyster crackers | | 3/4
| cup | Roasted pumpkin kernals | | 3/4
| cup | Flaked -OR- shredded coconut | | 3/4
| cup | M & M's | | 3/4
| cup | Salted cashews | | 3/4
| cup | Dried banana chips | | 1/2
| cup | Salted sunflower nuts | | 1/2
| cup | Dried apples, cut up |

Procedures:
| 1 | Heat oven to 350°F. | | 2 | Mix granola, noodles, peanuts, apricots and raisins. | | 3 | Pour margarine over granola mixture; toss until evenly coated. | | 4 | Spread in 9x13" ungreased pan. | | 5 | Bake, uncovered, stirring occasionally, 15 minutes; cool. | | 6 | Stir in the chips. | | 7 | Store in tightly covered container. | | 8 | Variations : add any combination of the above variations with the granola. | | 9 | If using m & m"s, add with the chips |
