Ingredients:

| tbsp | Vegetable oil | | 2
| each | Garlic cloves, diced | | 1
| large | Onion, diced | | 2
| each | Carrots, diced | | 2
| each | Celery stalks, chopped | | 7
| cup | Vegetable stock | | 1
| cup | Mixed vegetables | | 1/2
| tsp | Salt | | 1
| tsp | Parsley | | 1/4
| tsp | Cayenne pepper | | 2
| tbsp | Tamari | | 1
| cup | Pasta shells | | 4
| tbsp | Miso, or more to taste |

Procedures:
| 1 | In a large pot, heat the oil over medium high heat. | | 2 | Add the garlic & onions & saute for 2 minutes. | | 3 | Add the carrots & celelry & saute for another 5 minutes. | | 4 | Add the stock, mixed vegetables & herbs & spices. | | 5 | Cook for 1 hour. | | 6 | Add the shells & continue to cook till tender. | | 7 | Dilute the miso in 1 cup warm stock. | | 8 | Add to the soup & simmer for 30 minutes. | | 9 | "the cookbook for people who love animals" |
