Ingredients:
3 1/2 cupChicken broth
2 cupWater
1 cupChopped onion
1 cupSliced carrots
1 tspMinced garlic
1 can(16oz) crushed tomatoes
1 Medium-size zucchini (6oz)
Quartered lengthwise, then
Sliced ?inch thick
9 ozFrozen cut Italian Green
Beans
1/4 tspPepper
1 1/2 cupSmall pasta shells
1 can(16oz) red kidney beans
Rinsed and drained
Procedures:
1Bring broth, water, onion, carrots and garlic to a boil in a 3 to 4-quart pot.
2Reduce heat, cover and simmer 3 minutes or until carrots are crisp- tender.
3add crushed tomatoes, zucchini, green beans and pepper.
4Return to a boil, add pasta, cover and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender.
5Stir in beans.
6makes 10 cups, 5 servings.
