Ingredients:
1 Large onion, chopped
2 tbspSunflower oil
2 Cloves garlic, diced
1 tspFresh ground ginger
1 tspCurry powder
1 tspTurmeric
1 tspChili powder
1 tspGround cumin
1 tspGround coriander
3 Chicken bouillon cubes
6 cupWater
1 1/2 cupLentils, washed
3 cupBrown rice, cooked
Procedures:
1In a soup pot, cook onion in oil for about 10 minutes.
2Add garlic and spices; cook 2 more minutes.
3Add bouillon cubes, water and lentils; bring soup to a boil.
4Reduce heat and simmer about 1 hour.
5Ladle into bowls over rice.
