Leek broth - cawl cennin(welsh)

Ingredients:
2 Large leeks
1/2 pintMilk
Procedures:
11 lb potatoes 2 ts chopped parsley ?lb piece of bacon cheese ?lb carrots salt and pepper
2gently boil the bacon for 40 minutes.
3Skim off the fat.
4Peel and cut up the potatoes and carrots.
5Clean and chop the leeks.
6Add the vegetables to the bacon and simmer until they are tender-about 20 minutes.
7Add the milk and reheat but do not boil.
8Add the parsley.
9Serve with grated cheese.
