Ingredients:
1 packFrozen green, (16 ozs)
Peas
1 cupMilk
2 tbspMargarine or butter
2 tbspAll-purpose flour
3/4 tspSalt
1/8 tspPepper
1/2 cupHalf-and-half
Ground ginger
2 cup?/td>
1/4 Strips fully cooked
Smoked ham
Procedures:
1Recipe by: betty crocker"s microwave Microwave peas in 1-?quart casserole as directed on package; drain.
2Place peas and milk in workbowl of food processor fitted with steel blade or in blender container.
3Cover and process until uniform consistency.
4Place margarine in 1-?quart casserole.
5Cover with waxed paper and microwave on high 30 to 60 seconds or until melted.
6Stir in flour, salt and pepper.
7Gradually stir in pea mixture.
8Cover with waxed paper and microwave 5 to 6 minutes, stirring every minute, until boiling.
9Stir in half-and-half.
10Cover with waxed paper and microwave 30 to 60 seconds or just until hot (do not boil).
11Garnish each serving with dash of ginger and ?cup ham.
