| quart | Water | | 1

| tbsp | Flour, all-purpose, heaping | | 1

Procedures:
| 1 | Boil unpeeled potatoes in 2 quarts of water. | | 2 | When done, peel and puree while still warm. | | 3 | Add butter, flour, egg, and salt. | | 4 | Mix the dough and knead it well. | | 5 | With a spoon, cut off pieces of dough. | | 6 | Flour your hands and roll the pieces into round dumplings. | | 7 | Drop dumplings into boiling soup and cook for about 5 minutes, until tender. |
