| lbs | Assorted chicken pieces | | 6
| tbsp | Butter | | 1/2
| tsp | Salt | | 1/4
| tsp | Pepper | | 1/2
| tsp | Paprika | | 1
| tsp | Accent (optional) | | 1/2
| tsp | Garlic salt |

Procedures:
| 1 | Rinse and dry chicken pieces. | | 2 | Melt the butter in a large skillet. | | 3 | Place the chicken pieces in the skillet and fry slowly until they are evenly browned on both sides. | | 4 | Sprinkle the salt, pepper, paprika, accent and garlic salt over the chicken and cover the pan. | | 5 | Continue to cook over low heat for 35 minutes. | | 6 | During this period, turn the pieces of chicken frequently to assure even distribution of the seasonings. | | 7 | If you like your fried chicken crisp, remove the cover 10 minutes before serving. | | 8 | Turn each piece at least once. |
