Ingredients:

| cup | Fresh mushrooms, chopped | | 2
| tbsp | Butter | | 2
| tbsp | Flour | | 1/2
| cup | Light cream or half & half | | | Ds Pepper | | 1/4
| tsp | Salt | | 1 1/4
| cup | Sharp cheddar cheese, shred | | 2
| | Chicken breasts, boned/halvd | | 1
| | Egg, slightly beaten | | | Bread crumbs |

Procedures:
| 1 | Saute mushrooms in butter for 5 mins. | | 2 | Blend in flour, then light cream, pepper, and salt. | | 3 | Cook and stir until thickened. | | 4 | Remove from heat. | | 5 | Add cheddar cheese gradually. | | 6 | Turn mixture into a 9" pan and chill thoroughly. | | 7 | Shape cheese mixture into 4 sticks. | | 8 | Roll chicken breasts around the sticks and secure with toothpicks. | | 9 | Dip breasts into flour, then egg, and coat with bread crumbs. | | 10 | Bake at 325°F for 1 hour. | | 11 | Remove toothpicks before serving. |
