Ingredients:
1/4 cupButtermilk
1/2 tspSalt
1/2 tspFresh Ground Pepper
1/4 tspGround Nutmeg
3 1/2 lbsChicken, Skinned, Cut Up
1 cupFine Bread Crumbs
Procedures:
1Preheat oven to 400°F.
2Mix buttermilk, salt, pepper and nutmeg in a large bowl.
3Add chicken pieces, turning to coat.
4Place bread crumbs in a shallow bowl.
5Turn chicken, one piece at a time, in bread crumbs until evenly coated.
6Place chicken on foil lined baking sheet.
7Bake until coating is crisp and juice runs clear when thigh is pierced with a fork, about 50 minutes.
8Serve hot or at room temperature.
