Ingredients:

| tbsp | Onion, finely chopped | | 1/2
| cup | Celery | | 1
| pack | Green beans, french style | | 1
| tbsp | Pimento, chopped | | 2
| cup | Cooked chicken, diced (left | | 2
| cup | Condensed cream of mushroom | | 1/2
| tsp | Oregano | | 1
| x | White pepper to taste | | 2/3
| cup | Cashew or roasted peanut hal | | 1
| tbsp | Parsley, minced (optional) |

Procedures:
| 1 | Melt butter in a 2 or 3 quart saucepan. | | 2 | Add onion, celery, and beans. | | 3 | Cover; simmer over low heat about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until beans are tender. | | 4 | Add pimento, chicken, soup, and seasonings. | | 5 | Cook 10 minutes to blend flavors; stir as needed to prevent sticking. | | 6 | Stir in nuts. | | 7 | Sprinkle with parsley before serving. | | 8 | Serves 6. |
