Ingredients:
2 Cloves garlic, pressed
1 tspSalt
1/3 cupBrown sugar
1/3 cupApple cider vinegar
1/4 cupDijon mustard
1/4 cupHoney mustard
OR
1/4 cupHome-Style Inner Beauty Hot
-Sauce
2 tspDried thyme
2 tspDried tarragon
8 Boneless skinless chicken
-breast halves
Procedures:
1Whisk all ingredients together and marinate the chicken for at least one hour.
2Grill over hot coals.
3health reminder: do *not* use the leftover marinade as a basting or serving sauce for the chicken.
4Because it has been in contact with the raw chicken, you run the risk of salmonella by using the uncooked marinade.
5serving ideas : serve over pasta/rice/quinoa, or make sandwiches.
6notes : curtis sez: "the sugars in the marinade turn the finished chicken a beautiful deep brown on the outside.
7Although my favorite way to prepare these is to grill them, you can also double the amount of marinade and cook them in a nonstick skillet or bake them in the oven.
8For a real treat, replace the honey mustard with home-style inner beauty sauce - yum!"
