Ingredients:
CRUST
1 packOreo cookies, freshly
-crumbled
2 tbspAmaretto
1 tbspHazelnuts
FILLING
1/2 quartFreshly whipped cream
1 tbspCocoa
1 1/2 tbspCream of tartar
1 cupMelted butter
2 cupSuper-fine sugar
8 Eggs at room temp., beaten
1/2 cupAmaretto
TOPPING
2 cupFreshly whipped cream
1/4 cupMelted butter
1/4 cupCocoa
Sugar
Procedures:
1Crust: mix all ingredients.
2Form like a dough and put into a springform pan, about ? thick around the bottom and sides.
3Put aside.
4Filling: mix all ingredients.
5Put the filling into the crust and refrigerate for 24 hours.
6After refrigeration: bake ?hour at a very low temperature - about 225°F.
7A too-hot oven will result in "mush." topping: fold butter and cocoa into cream.
8Sweeten with sugar to taste.
9Top the pie.
10Serve at room temperature or slightly cooler
