Ingredients:
-MARTHA ZIMBELMAN
2 Onions, chopped
3 Carrots, sliced
2 Stalks celery, sliced
2 tspSalt
1/4 tspPepper
1/2 tspBasil
1/4 tspLeaf thyme
3 tbspDry parsley flakes
1 packFrozen peas (10 oz.)(opt.)
1 2-?lb. whole fryer
4 cup-Water
1 cupNoodles
Procedures:
1Place all ingredients in crockpot, except noodles, in order listed.
2Cover and cook on low 8-10 hours (high: 4-6 hours) one hour before serving, remove chicken and cool slightly.
3Remove meat from bones and return meat to crockpot.
4Add noodles.
5Turn to high.
6Cover and cook 1 hour.
