Ingredients:

| quart | Water | | 1
| pack | Rice sticks (13 ?oz) | | 2
| | Stalks celery | | 4
| oz | Chinese pea pods | | 1
| oz | Oriental dried mushrooms * | | 1/4
| cup | Oil | | 1
| lbs | Bean sprouts | | 1
| tbsp | Curry powder | | 1
| cup | Chicken broth | | | Salt | | | Soy sauce |

Procedures:
| 1 | *note: mushrooms should be softened in water. | | 2 | Bring water to boil and add rice sticks. | | 3 | Cook 2 minutes, then drain. | | 4 | Rinse with cold water and drain. | | 5 | Cut celery, pea pods and mushrooms into thin slices. | | 6 | Heat oil until hot and add rice sticks. | | 7 | Cook, stirring, until brown. | | 8 | Remove rice sticks from pan and drain. | | 9 | Add celery, pea pods, mushrooms and bean sprouts and cook over high heat 2 minutes, stirring constantly. | | 10 | Combine curry powder and chicken broth and add to pan. | | 11 | Season to taste with salt. | | 12 | Pour over rice sticks and toss to serve. | | 13 | Serve with soy sauce. | | 14 | Makes 6 to 8 servings |
