Procedures:
| 1 | Make popovers. | | 2 | Preheat oven to 450. | | 3 | In a blender or food processor, combine flour, salt, milk, broth, and eggs. | | 4 | Process until smooth. | | 5 | Spoon into well-greased preheated popover pan or muffin tin, filling two-thirds full. | | 6 | Bake 40 minutes, until well browned, puffed, and firm. | | 7 | Make filling. | | 8 | Meanwhile, melt butter in a large saucepan over medium-low heat. | | 9 | Whisk in flour, thyme, and pepper. | | 10 | Cook, stirring, 1 to 2 minutes without browning. | | 11 | Gradually whisk in chicken broth, milk, and wine. | | 12 | Cook, stirring until thickened, about 5 minutes. | | 13 | Add mushrooms, peas, red pepper, and chicken. | | 14 | Cook another 5 minutes until heated through. | | 15 | Split hot popovers and spoon in chicken filling |
