Sopa castilla la vieja (almond soup)

Ingredients:
3 canCondensed consomme'
(10-?ounces each)
3 Soup cans water
1/2 cupGround blanched almonds
1 tbspOlive oil
3 sliceBread, toasted
-- cut into 1-inch strips
1/3 cupGrated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cupToasted sliced almonds
Procedures:
1Heat consomme" and water.
2Mix almonds and oil and add to soup.
3Beat until well blended.
4Spoon soup into individual heat-proof bowls.
5Top bowls with toast strips.
6Sprinkle with cheese.
7Broil until cheese is golden.
8Sprinkle with sliced almonds.
