Ingredients:

| lbs | Pork sausage | | 1
| can | Kidney beans (16 oz.) | | 1 1/2
| cup | Canned tomatoes | | 2
| cup | Water | | 1
| med | Onion, chopped | | 1
| | Bay leaf | | 3/4
| tsp | Salt | | 1/4
| tsp | Garlic salt | | 1/4
| tsp | Thyme | | 1/8
| tsp | Pepper | | 1/2
| cup | Potatoes, diced | | 1/4
| cup | Green pepper, chopped |

Procedures:
| 1 | Cook sausage in skillet and brown. | | 2 | Pour off fat. | | 3 | In a large kettle, combine beans, tomatoes, water, onion, bay leaf, salt, garlic salt, thyme and pepper. | | 4 | Add sausage. | | 5 | Simmer, covered for 1 hour. | | 6 | Add potatoes and green peppers. | | 7 | Cook covered for 15 minutes or until potatoes are tender. | | 8 | Remove bay leaf and serve. |
