Sour-cherry soup, hungarian style

Ingredients:
2 tbspFlour
1 cupSour cream
1 pinchSalt
1 tspConfectioner's sugar
1 lbsFresh sour cherries, pitted
3/4 cupGranulated sugar
Procedures:
1Stir flour with sour cream, salt, and confectioner"s sugar till smooth.
2meantime, cook sour cherries in 1 ?quarts water with granulated sugar till done.
3take 2 ladlefuls of liquid from the cherry pot and add to the flour mixture, stir for a few minutes.
4pour the mixture back into the soup and simmer for 5 minutes.
5Cover the soup and let it cool that way; this way it won"t develop a skin.
6Adjust salt.
7note: you must have fresh sour cherries to make this soup.
8Do not make it with canned fruit.
