Sliced kiwi & banana with strawberry puree

Ingredients:
1 pintStrawberries, hulled
Water
1 tbspCornstarch
3 Bananas
1 Juice of ?lemon
1/2 cupGranulated sugar
6 Kiwis
Procedures:
1Place strawberries in blender with lemon juice and ?cup water.
2(thawed unsweeted strawberries could be substituted).
3Blend until smooth.
4Press through fine strainer into medium-sized saucepan.
5(sauce foams as it cooks, so you will need the extra space).
6Add sugar to mixture; bring to a boil.
7Lower heat; simmer 5 minutes.
8Mix cornstarch with 1 tablespoon water; stir into mixture 1 to 2 minutes or until thickened.
9Remove from heat.
10Cool and chill.
11Just before serving, peel kiwis and bananas.
12Place several tablespoons for strawberry mixture in corner of each dessert plate.
13Slice 1 kiwi and half a banana into overlapping semicircles around each pool of sauce.
14(if you have any strawberry mixture left over, it"s delicious on ice cream).
